Ingredients

1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1/2 onion, sliced
1 garlic clove, sliced
1 4-ounce can whole green chilies, sliced
1/2 cup whipping cream

Preparation

  1. Heat oil in heavy small skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and sauté until very tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in chilies and cream. Simmer until mixture is thickened and flavors are blended, about 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper and serve.
