1/4 cup light corn syrup
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

Preparation

  1. Pick over blueberries. In a 3-quart heavy saucepan combine all ingredients and simmer, stirring, until reduced to about 2 cups, 25 to 30 minutes. Transfer filling to a bowl. Chill filling, covered, at least 1 hour and up to 2 days.
