Ingredients

4 ounces milk chocolate, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
3/4 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature

Preparation

  1. Place chocolate and salt in a medium heatproof bowl. Heat cream in a small saucepan just until steaming (do not bring to a boil) and pour over chocolate. Let sit until chocolate is melted, about 5 minutes. Add butter and whisk until butter is melted and incorporated and mixture is smooth. Serve warm.
