Chocolate Cream Cheese Icing

Ingredients

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
One 8-ounce block cream cheese, softened
4 ounces semisweet chocolate, melted (see note)
3 cups confectioners’ sugar, sifted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon milk

Preparation

  1. Beat the butter and cream cheese until creamy. Add the melted chocolate, confectioners’ sugar, vanilla, and milk, and beat until the icing is smooth and creamy.
