Soy Sloppy Joes

Soy crumbles were developed to imitate ground beef, but it’s not so much their flavor as their texture that does the trick. This is a family-friendly recipe for all to enjoy.

Cooks' Note

Soy crumbles, marketed under two or more brand names including Green Giant and Morningstar Farms, are made of texturized soy protein. Look for this product in the frozen foods section of well-stocked supermarkets, as well as in natural foods stores.
